Distance learning. Online Masters Defense: End of the Season

20 May 2021

The academic year 2020/2021 is drawing to an end. Everyone already feels confident in online learning, including master students. The master students of the Artificial Intelligence Department, who studied under the educational and scientific program “Systems of Artificial Intelligence” (speciality 122 – Computer Science), defence their theses on May 18-20.

All graduates showed a high level of responsibility and self-discipline, withstood all the requirements of preliminary preparation of works for defence: they passed norm control, check for plagiarism, peer-review on time, passed stitched qualifying master’s theses (hardcopy) to the department.

Traditionally, a significant part of the works was devoted to research in computational intelligence, namely, various architectures of deep neural networks and their applications for solving multiple applied problems of computer vision, image recognition, and natural language processing. The subjects of the master’s works also include methods and models of multi-agent systems development, distributed databases, and recommender systems.

As usual, our graduate students tackle challenging but enjoyable, complex tasks, solve them successfully and prove their high professional level.

The masters’ defences were again pleased with the high level of the presented works and excellent results. We wish our graduates new interesting creative tasks, health and success!
