Partner universities provide the selected candidates with a grant from the Erasmus+ KA107 programme which covers travel and living costs. The tuition at host universities is free.
Four mobility for teachers and two for administrative staff are also available. Applicants for teaching (5 days of teaching + 2 trips) and administrative training must send their СV and plan for teaching / training to the above-mentioned contact for the selection of candidates by a commission headed by the Vice-Rector for Innovation and Corporate Affairs and Administration.
Selection criteria for academic and administrative staff (in order of preference):
Consortium of the project WARN «Academic Response to Hybrid Threats» (610133-EPP-1-2019-1-FI-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP) including staff members of AI and ECES Departments, composed the Hybrid Threats Glossary which provides the terminological framework for definition of the hybrid threats in 7 fields of knowledge for 11 study programs to be modernized within the project, in particular in Management and Artificial Intelligence. An interactive version of the Glossary of Hybrid Threats has now been launched for use not only by the professional academic community but also by a wide range of stakeholders, regardless of age, social category and professional domain.
28.05.2021 at the meeting of the Academic Board of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, rector NURE professor V. Semenets congratulated the scientists of the University on their professional holiday – Science Day and personally presented honorary awards.
Congratulations to Nataliya Ryabova, professor of the Artificial Intelligence Department, who received a Certificate of honour from the Executive Committee of the Kharkiv City Council “for many years of conscientious and fruitful work, high professionalism, significant contribution to the development of education and science in Kharkiv and on the occasion of Science Day.”
We wish Nataliya Volodymirivna good health and further creative success!
The academic year 2020/2021 is drawing to an end. Everyone already feels confident in online learning, including master students. The master students of the Artificial Intelligence Department, who studied under the educational and scientific program “Systems of Artificial Intelligence” (speciality 122 – Computer Science), defence their theses on May 18-20.
All graduates showed a high level of responsibility and self-discipline, withstood all the requirements of preliminary preparation of works for defence: they passed norm control, check for plagiarism, peer-review on time, passed stitched qualifying master’s theses (hardcopy) to the department.
Traditionally, a significant part of the works was devoted to research in computational intelligence, namely, various architectures of deep neural networks and their applications for solving multiple applied problems of computer vision, image recognition, and natural language processing. The subjects of the master’s works also include methods and models of multi-agent systems development, distributed databases, and recommender systems.
As usual, our graduate students tackle challenging but enjoyable, complex tasks, solve them successfully and prove their high professional level.
The masters’ defences were again pleased with the high level of the presented works and excellent results. We wish our graduates new interesting creative tasks, health and success!
On April 22-23, teachers and students of the Artificial Intelligence Department, as well as a number of other departments of NURE, participate in the V International Conference Computational Linguistics and Intelligent Systems, CoLIns-2021. In the pandemic mode, the conference was held online using the ZOOM platform.
We would like to thank the Organizing Committee and especially the Department of Intelligent Computer Systems of NTU “KhPI” headed by prof. Natalia Valeriyvna Sharonova, who took the brunt of the blow and perfectly organized the meetings of two plenary and seven section sessions.
A special bonus of this conference is the speeches of all participants posted on the YouTube channel.
On April 20-21, 2021, the Artificial Intelligence Department held online meetings of the section “Modern Problems of Computational and Artificial Intelligence”.The section is an integral part of the conference “Intelligent Information Systems” and the XXV Youth Forum “Radio Electronics and Youth in the XXI century.” Traditionally, most of the presented works were devoted to the study and application of machine and deep learning methods for solving applied problems. The tradition of attracting the best students of the AI department, studying in the junior courses, to participate in our Forum continues. This time we listened to the report devoted to relational databases represented by the second-year student. We thank all the participants and wish them new creative success and health!
Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics invites students, graduate students and young scientists to take part in the 25th International Youth Forum “Radio Electronics and Youth in the XXI Century”, which will be held on April 20 – 22, 2021.
