The Ministry of Education and Science will work on a project on countering hybrid threats the under EU Erasmus+ Program within 2022

The Ministry of Education and Science together with 11 Ukrainian and European universities will work on a project on countering hybrid threats. Its results will be used further for degree programs and teacher training.

This was discussed during the kick-off meeting of the “Academic Response to Hybrid Threat (WARN)” project which should be implemented within the framework of the European Union Erasmus+ Program “Capacity Building in the field of Higher Education”.

7 Ukrainian universities will work on the project implementation:

Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics;
Ukrainian Catholic University;
State University of Infrastructure and Technology;
National University Ostroh Academy;
National Academy of Managerial Staff of Culture and Arts;

Kharkiv Regional Institute of Public Administration;
Gorlovka Institute of Foreign Languages ​​of Donbass State Pedagogical University.

Consortium members from European partners consists of:
University of Jyväskylä;
French Graduate School of Electrical Engineering;
Coimbra University;
Tartu University.

Together the project partners will develop a secure civic environment in Ukraine.

In addition, the project should implement interdisciplinary and short-term certified educational programs aimed at countering hybrid threats, establishing expert infrastructure for interdisciplinary research and research-oriented education. It is envisaged that information security training modules will be built with the use of preventive learning technologies used in the artificial intelligence systems of European Union countries.

The project duration is 2019-2022.
