Workshop on ML methods for effective signal processing within Horizon2020 MSCA RISE project DIOR

On 16/03/2023 researchers of AI Department (DIOR – Horizon2020 MSCA RISE project partner) presented their elaborations at the international workshop which was organized within the project  by the company TurinTech.AI  (London). Workshop was devoted to the use of ML methods for effective signal processing in the optical/wireless/hybrid networks.  

Academic project partners (Tampere University – FI, University of Warwick – UK, Telecommunication Institution – IT) reported their results in traffic  signal optimization and increasing security due to using ML methods; Associate Prof. of AI Dep. Mariia Golovianko presented the research on the Informed Machine Learning: enhancing deep learning systems with expert knowledge;

Prof. Mischa Dohler, VP Emerging Technologies at Ericsson Inc, Silicon Valley presented the cutting-the-edge developments of the company in the fields of 6G, Metaverse, XR, Quantum and Blockchain as well as Ericsson’s products development prospects;

Anne Nierobisch, Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions UK National Contact Point spoke about the financing of research by the Horizon Europe program and inter-European cooperation in the field of AI and digital technologies;

Leslie Kanthan, CEO and co-founder of TurinTech.AI presented company’s own product – Platform for optimizing the code performance with AI.
