The team of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics — comprising Andrii Yerokhin, Yurii Romanenkov, Oleh Zolotukhin, Vitalii Martovytskyi, Diana Rudenko, and Nikita Zdoryk — took part in the First Module of the Academic Managers Professional Development Programme held from October 7 to 10, 2025.
This Programme is a unique initiative of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, implemented by the British Council within the joint MoES and World Bank project “Ukraine Improving Higher Education for Results.”
Its goal is to strengthen the institutional capacity of Ukrainian higher education institutions by developing academic managers’ competencies in the areas of higher education transformation, good governance, strategic and financial management, human resource management, internationalization, and institutional change.
The first module focused on the role of universities in social transformation processes. During training sessions and networking events, particular attention was given to rethinking the third mission of universities — their social role. Participants explored community-oriented university cases, analyzing their functions, their impact on public life, and their contribution to local community development.
The representatives of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics express their sincere gratitude to the organizers for the warm welcome and the high level of event organization.
There are still three more modules ahead, dedicated to current and practically oriented topics that will contribute to the participants’ continued professional growth and to strengthening the capacity of universities across Ukraine.
