INWES Europe x NMITE Unconference 2025

On 6–7 November 2025, NURE representatives — Professor Oleksandra Yeremenko (V.V. Popovskyy Department of Infocommunication Engineering) and Liudmyla Titova (AI Department) — participated in the global event Unconference 2025, hosted by NMITE (New Model Institute for Technology and Engineering, Hereford, UK) in collaboration with INWES (a global network of organizations of women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, reaching over 60 countries worldwide).
This regional (European) unstructured conference (Unconference) brought together women in STEM from across Europe and provided a platform for professional development, policy dialogue, and long-term strategic visioning for the INWES network. It was an impressive event that offered valuable discussions, strengthened international cooperation, and empowered the next generation of STEM leaders.
Professor Oleksandra Yeremenko informed participants about NURE’s achievements and the challenges it has faced during wartime, as well as how the university has managed to maintain its strong positions in science, education, and innovation despite being located just 30 km from the frontline. Participants highly appreciated NURE’s resilience and experience.
