Education and Career

• 1980 - graduated from the Kharkiv Institute of Radio Electronics, specialising in “Automated control systems”.

• 1987 - The thesis was defended on 18 December 1987 at the Kharkiv Institute of Radio Electronics.

• 1989 - Assistant of the Department of Technical Cybernetics (KhIRE)

• 1992 - Senior Lecturer at the Department of Technical Cybernetics (KhIRE)

• 1993 - Associate Professor of the Department of Technical Cybernetics (since 1999 - Artificial Intelligence Department)

• 2005 - Doctor of Technical Sciences, specialty 05.13.06 - automated control systems and advanced information technologies, dissertation on “Multi-agent technologies for the integration of heterogeneous information systems and distributed databases” defended at NURE

• 2005 - Professor of the Artificial Intelligence Department of NURE

• 2014 - 2024 - Head of the Artificial Intelligence Department at Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics

• Sinse 2025 - Professor of the Artificial Intelligence Department.

Research activities

From 1998 to 2012 he served as head of the research laboratory of system technologies. As part of the state budget R & D was involved in research projects: “Information-analytical system” Elections“, ”Development of information and analytical system for Emergency Situations of Poltava region“, ”Development of information-analytical system with distributed artificial intelligence “University”, “Development of models and means for integrating heterogeneous information systems and distributed databases”.

Since September 1, 2005 – scientific director of the Center for Information Systems and Technologies.

Member of «Automated control systems and automation equipment» and «Innovative Technologies and Scientific Solutions for Industries» editorial boards.

Head of Dissertation Council D 64.052.11.

Member of Optimization Committee.

Research interests: Distributed databases, multi-agent systems, information systems, and data mining.

International activity / participation in international projects

• 2000

  participated in the project TEMPUS-UM_CP-20560-1999 for the use of the European system of educational loans (EUROPEAN CREDIT TRANSFER SYSTEM (ECTS)) in the system of higher education in Ukraine.

• 2020

  participated in the project H2020-MSCA-RISE-2020 «Deep Intelligent Optical and Radio Communication Networks» (DIOR).

• 2005 - Commendation of Chairman Kharkiv Regional State Administration.

• 2010 - Certificate of Honor Ministry of Education and Science Ukraine.
