International Student Research Paper Competition in Artificial Intelligence — 2026
We invite students to take part in the Student Research Paper Competition in Artificial Intelligence, held for the third time by the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”.
The Competition aims to stimulate students’ research activity, foster the development of their creative and scientific potential and the formation of a research culture, and encourage deeper involvement in the field of advanced artificial intelligence technologies. Special attention will be given to works proposing new architectures, algorithms and methods in AI — ideas with the potential to shape the future of the field.
Bachelor’s and Master’s degree students enrolled at higher education institutions in Ukraine and other countries are invited to participate. The Competition can be not only an important step in their academic career, but also a chance to join the international research community.
Key dates
Round I — June–September 2026, at higher education institutions (until 01.10.2026)
Submission of papers for Round I of the 2026 Competition. Paper uploads close on 20.09.2026. Papers formatted in accordance with the requirements of the “Regulations on the Competition” should be submitted to the competition committee in electronic form to the email addresses olena.hrynova@nure.ua, nataliya.ryabova@nure.ua.
