AI in Education: Opportunities, Challenges, and Responsible Use 🤖📚

On August 27, 2026, an information and discussion event titled “Artificial Intelligence in the Educational Process: Principles, Relevance, and Challenges of Use” was held. The event was organized as part of the Memorandum of Cooperation signed between the University and the Department of Education, Culture, Youth, and Sports of the Blyzniuky Village Council of Lozova District, Kharkiv Region, with the participation of the Artificial Intelligence Department. Speaker: Senior Lecturer Dmytro Valeriiovych Vodianytskyi.

Artificial intelligence has already become part of our reality — and education is no exception. Today, AI helps create educational materials, process information, prepare presentations, analyze texts, write code, and solve learning tasks.

However, alongside new opportunities come new questions:

🔹 Can we trust AI-generated results?

🔹 Where is the line between receiving AI assistance and having AI do the work for the student?

🔹 How can we use artificial intelligence while adhering to the principles of academic integrity?

🔹 How do we avoid losing critical thinking skills?

🔹 What needs to be considered regarding privacy and copyright?

During the event, participants not only discussed these questions but also explored demonstrations of modern AI tools in action.

Attendees learned about ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Gamma, NotebookLM, MagicSchool, MathGPTPro, and other services, and saw practical examples of their application in the educational process.

Special attention was given to the core principle: artificial intelligence is a tool, not a replacement for human thought.

That is why today it is essential not merely to know how to use AI, but to understand its capabilities, limitations, and how to integrate it responsibly into learning.
