It provides an opportunity for our students to meet in a lecture format with experts of the industry who may share their experience and talk about the requirements and the latest development trends in their sector of the IT industry.We invite students of the AI Department to take part in an extended interactive lecture on the discipline “Administration of Unix-like operating systems”. According to the results of the Kharkiv Region Championship in classical powerlifting, the athletes of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics Victoria Akhremenko and Vladislav Ivanov won gold medals, Maria Mazel and, in the absolute weight category, Victoria Akhremenko – silver medals. Igor Lukienko received a bronze medal.

Matviy Aslandukov (Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics), a student of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, won the annual LNU Open Individual Programming Championship. The Olympiad took place on February 27 on the basis of Lviv National University named after I. Franko.
NURE purchased powerful computer equipment financed by the EU grant program Erasmus+ KA2 CBHE within the project “Academic response to hybrid threats” (610133-EPP-1-2019-1-FI-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP) where our University fulfills the role of the national coordinator. Both Departments (Artificial Intelligence and Economic Cybernetics and Management of Economic Security) implementing the project started establishing the interfaculty Hub with equipping their laboratories accordingly to the project objectives namely, to maintain the corresponding Master’s programs and research on hybrid threats in the fields of artificial intelligence and economic security.
Special thanks to the NEO in Ukraine and its General manager Svitlana Shytikova for assistance in adjusting all grant requirements to the Ukrainian legislation for purchasing equipment.
Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics invites students, postgraduates and young scientists to take part in the XXV International Youth Forum «RADIO ELECTRONICS AND YOUTH IN THE XXI CENTURY», which will be held April 20-22, 2021.
The new spring semester of the 2020-21 academic year has begun today. It is significant that on this day, the Department of Artificial Intelligence received new computers to equip its multimedia auditorium No. 258. Due to long-term cooperation with the well-known international IT-company Epam Systems, we have updated the department’s computer park. Now 20 new computers wait for students in the 258th classroom. It is vital because the first-year students will do their labs and practical tutorials in the first year of this semester in campus classes instead of online.
Thank our partner Epam Systems for the valuable update! We wish the freshmen enjoyable and fruitful lessons on new computers!
The new academic year continues online. The first day of defense of the masters of the Department of Artificial Intelligence, who studied under the educational and professional program “Artificial Intelligence Systems” (specialty 122 – Computer Science), took place. Both teachers and students are quite comfortable with the training and presenting the results of their work online. It is possible to examine in detail each slide and formula presented in full-screen mode.
It should be noted that the undergraduates met all the requirements of the preliminary preparation of works for defense: they passed the normative control, plagiarism check, peer review, passed the stitched attestation master’s theses (so-called hardcopy) to the department.
The general enthusiasm for deep learning and new architectures of modern neural networks influenced the topics of the master’s
certification works. A significant part of the work was devoted to the study of various architectures of deep neural networks and their application for solving various applications of computer vision and image recognition.
The topics of the works submitted for defense also included modeling of self-similar time series and the study of their properties, research and application of genetic algorithms and machine learning methods for solving practical problems. Our graduate master’s degrees, continuing the tradition, take on challenging but interesting complex tasks, they successfully solve them and prove their high professional level.
The first day of defense made me happy with the high level of submitted works and excellent results. We wish our graduates new interesting creative tasks, health and success!
Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics in cooperation with Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and Wildau Technical University of Applied Sciences received a positive decision from the German Academic Exchange Service DAAD on a joint application. With the support of DAAD in the summer of 2021 in Kyiv (28.06.2021 – 02.07.2021) and Kharkiv (05.07.2021 – 09.07.2021) German-Ukrainian summer schools “Lessons in Biomedicine Learnt from Nanotechnology and Artificial Intelligence” will be organized. Among the invited lecturers of schools in Kyiv and Kharkiv Professor of Artificial Intelligence Department Yevgeniy Bodyanskiy.
