Presentation of the project results at the University of Wildau, Germany

20 October 2023

Mariia Golovianko, Associate Professor of AI Department, had been invited to the seminar held by prof. Marcus Frohme at the University of Wildau and his research group. The invitation was extended to her with the purpose of visiting the university and delivering a presentation on the ongoing projects within NURE’s Artificial Intelligence Department.

Reflecting on her experience at the University of Wildau, Dr. Golovianko expressed her thoughts, saying, “It was a wonderful opportunity to shed light on our research and educational projects, which also include initiatives funded by the Erasmus + program: WARN (Academic Response to Hybrid Threats) and JoinME (JoInt Multidisciplinary training program on Entrepreneurship in the field of artificial intelligence for industry 5.0). The underlying concepts of these projects offer a wealth of material for contemplation and discussion across a range of contexts. Not only do these projects serve as a fertile ground for the generation and cultivation of innovative ideas propelling contemporary AI research, but they also contribute to our academic input into societal resilience and prosperity. This is what also makes them appealing to a broader audience.”

Following her presentation, a brief tour of the university’s research facilities ensued, providing an opportunity to meet with the university’s staff. Dr. Golovianko harbors optimism about the future, believing that it holds promising prospects for further collaboration between the two higher education institutions. The WARN project has already been invited to the exhibition dedicated to Ukrainian Science, scheduled at the University of Wildau for November.
