Project Coordination Meeting

On May 12–13, 2026, the INITIATE project representatives from the AI Department (Associate Professor Maria Golovianko and Engineer Liudmyla Titova) and Oleh Kobylin, Head of the Informatics Department (online) participated in a coordination meeting held at the Institute of Nuclear Sciences in Belgrade (Republic of Serbia).

During the event, a presentation was delivered on the results achieved by NURE over the two years of the project, particularly regarding the establishment of the Transformative AI Lab, its functions, digital transition–related projects that recently received funding, and those submitted to new grant programmes calls.

The NURE project team representatives also participated in a roundtable discussion on available grant Calls for the development and submission of joint projects by consortium members, presenting their proposals for NURE’s participation in future project applications.

Work on the INITIATE project contributes to Sustainable Development Goals 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), 4 (Quality Education), 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), and 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
