
The AI Department, together with the Department of Economic Cybernetics and Management of Economic Security, implemented the project “WARN: Academic Response to Hybrid Threats”, financed by Erasmus+ CBHE during 2019 – 2024, #610133-EPP-1-2019-1-FI-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP. Both Departments modernised their master’s programmes Artificial Intelligence Systems and Financial and Economic Security Management, respectively.
The advantages of the modernised master’s programme in AI, in particular, new competencies to develop and use AI tools and technologies in the security and countering hybrid threats, are described in the video Artificial Intelligence Systems.

Summarising the project results, the project ensures specific competencies of graduates to detect, classify and counter hybrid threats in various professional domains (technical, cultural, public administration, journalism, media communication, transport logistics, political science and national security).

There is no doubt that this project demonstrated significant contributions to SDG16, “Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions” as well as to SDG4 (Quality Education).
