Cyber-Defence for Intelligent Systems – IMMUNE

Participation in the Advanced Research Workshop, #G5172 “Cyber Defence in Industry 4.0 Systems and Related Logistics and IT Infrastructure” in October 2017 allowed the development and submission of the project proposal on Cyber Defence for Intelligent Systems, which was financed for the next 3 years.

Project “Cyber Defence for Intelligent Systems – IMMUNE”, Contract #G5511 funded by NATO Science for Peace and Security Programme (SPS).

Project period: 24.05.2018 – 23.05.2021

Project participants:

Project Coordinator: Technical University – Sofia, BG.

ECAM-EPMI (Graduate School of Engineering), FR;

University of Jyvaskyla, FI;

Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, UA;

The general project objective is to develop a Proof of Concept of an operational tool for effective and real-time intelligent and resilient cyber defence in supply chains and logistics.

The project results include:

  • a proof of concept of Intelligent System for Resilient Cyber Defence in Supply Chains and Logistics supported by Cyber-physical systems (CPS) composed of network structures (connected by an appropriate interface), and periphery, composed of various connected smart modules (e.g., intelligent sensors and actuators, computer-human interfaces, computation units, databases, logistics units mechatronic systems, industry 4.0 modules );
  • a smart hybrid models for early detection and prevention of cyber threats and attacks in CPS trained on data obtained from CPS smart modules;
  • raised awareness of methods and tools for intelligent and resilient cyber defence in supply chains and logistics.
