    The key objective of INITIATE  is to develop and implement transformative approach in higher education institutions through mutual cooperation between academic institutions, NGOs, business and policymakers, supported by materials and capacity-building activities. The project will pilot its solutions in three European universities (Zagreb, Lisbon and Skopje) and implement best practices of piloting in two universities in Ukraine (Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics and Lviv National University of Technology).

    The main idea behind the INITIATE project is to capitalize on knowledge already existing in the geographically inclusive alliance networks through effective consolidation and to increase the critical mass of researchers, upskilling, knowledge creation, and knowledge circulation in the green and digital transition.

    At NURE, the project is being implemented by three departments: the Department of Artificial Intelligence, the Department of Informatics, and the Department of Information Systems and Technologies. To implement the INITIATE project transformation approach, piloted in newly established laboratories of three European universities, the AI ​​Department opened the Transformational Artificial Intelligence Laboratory.
